Senior Application Support Specialist (SimCorp) WarsawYour responsibilities
  • Supporting smooth application operation and development of project releases for multiple applications in your portfolio.
  • Developing, customizing, and maintaining the Core Application SimCorp Dimension (SCD), especially expert in fund accounting (IFRS9 & HGB), communication servers, and interfaces to subsequent applications.
  • Taking over the internal product responsibility for IT products or product groups; ensuring compliance with required IT and risk controls.
  • Planning, controlling, and monitoring of external providers concerning capacity, performance, and result quality for applications or application groups in the area of responsibility.
  • Taking responsibility for or participating in the managing and reporting of all global cost elements of the service budgets as well as verification of monthly invoicing.
  • Advising business departments or IT colleagues on service offerings.
  • Collaborating in transition projects and the further development of the service in general.
  • Creating and maintaining procedures for existing processes and documentation around knowledge management, compliance regulations, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Ensuring compliance based on internal and external regulations, and adherence to established product management processes and standards.
Our requirements
  • Fluent command of Business English.
  • University degree in Computer Science/Business Information Management or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering results in a fast-paced, global, and regulated business environment, especially in the Asset Management context.
  • Expert level in SimCorp Dimension (SCD).
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, and a proven quality and result orientation.
  • Planning, coordination, and organizational skills to ensure smooth application support processes and to assist the Product Manager or the customer directly.
  • Flexibility and a curious and creative mindset, open to new things, and able to propose innovative ideas.
Optional
  • ITIL certification or willingness to pursue one.
  • Experience in existing technical (back office) functionalities, e.g. Crystal Reports, SQL, data models, and additional applications in the Asset Management environment.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies and DevOps processes and tools.

About the role

As a Senior Application Support Specialist, you will support smooth operations of the applications and support project activities, including the transition from transform to support processes. You will provide application maintenance and support services to users or to service delivery functions and contribute to the operations of a dedicated application or group of applications.
