For our European site located in Warsaw, Poland, we are looking for a:

Treasury Compliance Associate

This particular role is based at our Shared Services Center in Warsaw, but is reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, based in Belgium. The role will manage bank compliance requests, such as "Know Your Customer" (KYC) and will assist the Treasury team with bank account maintenance, compliance requests for bank transactions, certain SOX and internal controls and governance related to bank portals. The colleague will work in close coordination with the treasury operations teams in Belgium, US, Singapore and Costa Rica. Responsibilities:

"Know Your Customer" (KYC) Controls:

  1. Coordinate efforts to obtain the necessary documentation from various teams to open and maintain bank accounts. KYC documentation is required for every account opening, and periodically during the existence of a bank account to keep accounts operational.
  2. Ensure storing and sharing of information is done in compliance with applicable security and privacy regulations.
  3. Contribute to developing best practices and standards to improve KYC processes at Zoetis.

Compliance related to Treasury transactions:

  1. Coordinate a timely response to compliance questions on bank transactions, e.g., related to sanction regimes or anti-money laundering regulations.
  2. Prepare reports on treasury transactions, as required (e.g., for EMIR compliance on derivative transactions).
  3. Assist in the obtaining of audit confirmations from banks.

SOX and Internal Controls:

  1. Assist other members of the team in preparing and coordinating certain SOX controls related to bank accounts and signatories.
  2. Assist in the coordination of audits by external and internal auditors.

Bank Portal Governance:

  1. Assist in the maintenance of users to banking and treasury portals and systems.
  2. Work with banks and other system providers to ensure governance controls are set-up in-line with Zoetis standards.

Other:

  1. Assist other members of the team in any reporting or administrative processes, such as bank fee analysis and creation of purchase orders.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting or related.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a banking or corporate finance environment.
  3. Strong focus on integrity, compliance and attention to detail is a must.
  4. Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
  5. Interest in technology and excellent computer literacy.
  6. Experience with banking platforms is a plus.
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  8. Ability to work on own initiative, while at the same time being a strong team player.
  9. Flexible and enthusiastic work attitude.
