Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Compliance Officer for Corporate Treasury, you will be responsible for providing compliance coverage of Corporate Treasury, with an emphasis on regulatory and conduct risk in EMEA.

This includes providing real-time compliance guidance to the Corporate Treasury Department and trading specific compliance guidance to the Corporate Treasury trading group.

You will advise, challenge and influence CF&O divisions about regulations, policies and reputational risk, and identify, investigate and manage compliance issues involving CF&O divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Compliance coverage of Corporate Treasury, with an emphasis on regulatory and conduct risk in EMEA.
  • Provide real-time compliance guidance to the Corporate Treasury Department and trading specific compliance guidance to the Corporate Treasury trading group.
  • Advise, challenge and influence CF&O divisions about regulations, policies and reputational risk.
  • Identify, investigate and manage compliance issues involving CF&O divisions.
  • Execute Compliance Risk Assessment and other core compliance deliverables.
  • Analyse regulatory changes and enforcement actions to assess the impact to CF&O divisions.
  • Develop and deploy second line controls and assist the first line with the development of their controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years Compliance/Legal/Regulatory background covering Corporate Treasury / Treasury trading functions.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in relevant field is a plus.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communications skills.
  • Sound judgment, ethics and integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of EU financial regulations.
