Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Lead to join our team and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of our Enterprise Risk Management Program. This includes delivering on the risk management plan, providing risk expertise, and working with risk owners to support informed decision-making.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management processes across Sportradar.
  • Support all elements of the risk management process, including risk identification, assessment, and evaluation with management across various business units;
  • Collaborate with Risk Owners to define risk appetite and ensure ongoing monitoring of Sportradar's adherence to set appetite;
  • Develop controls and action plans required to manage identified risks effectively;
  • Drive maturity of the risk management process, ensuring risk information supports decision-making;
  • Deliver education and training to build risk awareness and promote a suitable risk culture within the organization.
  • Lead the development of risk reporting for the Board, Executive Leadership Team, and Audit Committee.
  • Pursue specific risk-related projects in response to business needs.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of an industry-leading GRC Tool (AuditBoard).

Your Expertise:

  • 5 years of experience in Risk Management, with a deep understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies in global corporate environments or consultancy practices.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to present information clearly and concisely.
  • A relevant qualification in risk management (CRMA, MIRM, C-Risk).
