In this role, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in customer data management while supporting serialization processes to meet regulatory and operational needs. You will work closely with a Senior Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain high data quality, enhance system performance, and ensure serialization compliance. This is a sole contributor role based in Warsaw, Poland.

Here's What You'll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

Master Data Governance & Business Process Ownership (80%)

  1. Act as the business process owner for SAP customer master data, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, compliance requirements, and operational needs.
  2. Develop and maintain master data policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Partner with IT and external vendors to oversee SAP data solutions and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.).
  4. Monitor data governance trends and regulatory developments, implementing necessary changes proactively.
  5. Maintain and update customer master data records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Your responsibilities will also include:

Serialization & Traceability Support (20%)

  1. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Packaging, and IT teams to support serialization workflows and traceability initiatives.
  2. Active Change Control participation, including assessment and action stages. Create and verify GTINs based on each country's requirements according to change control actions.
  3. Troubleshoot serialization and traceability issues, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  4. Work with external partners and vendors to improve serialization system performance and integration with SAP.
  5. Support audits and inspections by providing necessary serialization-related documentation and compliance reports.

Operational Execution & Issue Resolution

  1. Lead the execution and validation of customer master data processes, including data entry, validation, deduplication, and cleansing activities.
  2. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to minimize operational disruptions.
  3. Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data-related exceptions, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  4. Support audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and ensuring data compliance readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  1. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and IT to optimize customer master data workflows.
  2. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to reduce manual data handling and enhance accuracy.
  3. Drive standardization of data management and serialization practices across global business units, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate strategies.
  4. Train and educate internal teams on master data and serialization best practices, system updates, and compliance requirements.

Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  1. Education: BA/BS required; preferred fields in supply chain management, logistics, engineering and/or business administration with experience in pharmaceutical data management and project management.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in various Supply Chain, Project Management, and Manufacturing functions (strong preference towards Pharmaceutical and Biotech experience).

  1. Certification in APICS, data management, or related disciplines is a plus.
  2. Experience in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
  3. Lean Six Sigma certification or other process improvement methodologies.
  4. Knowledge of blockchain and emerging traceability technologies.
  5. Proven experience with SAP S4 Hana, data quality tools, and methodologies.
  6. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in master data management.
  7. Well organized – a natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work.
  8. You drive for results – you set a high bar for yourself and others.
  9. Good presentation and preparation skills to visualize complex content in an easy to view manner.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
