NOC Engineer

Damovo is looking for a Network Operations Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. In this role, you will be part of an agile and collaborative team, working in an open and diverse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our customers' network and UC infrastructures through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

• Technical processing and coordinating with the customer to fulfill the incident management process.
• Remote Managed Service Support Level 1-3, providing initial incident response (level 1, 2 & 3), employing corrective actions, escalating issues where needed, and generating event reports.
• Supporting the field service organization during implementation within the framework of remote project support.
• Close coordination with the service coordinators to ensure alerts are properly registered in the ticketing system, responses are timely, and remediation statuses are communicated.
• Providing operational services for the systems operated by Damovo for its own use.
• Creation and maintenance of the technical documentation database related to the network and UC systems.
• Use of network monitoring solutions.
• The product focus is on the UC/ICT portfolio of the manufacturer Cisco and the 3rd party applications used in the operating environment.

• Completed vocational training, e.g., as a communications electronics technician or IT systems electronics technician, or a comparable qualification/professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of current network technologies with a focus on UC technologies.
• Experience in working with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English with good German skills (min. B1 level).
• Motivated to gain hands-on experience using novel technologies to manage complex systems.
