Equipping cars with perception and machine intelligence changes a lot in the overall picture of the vehicle manufacturer. Great mechanical engineering is not the only criteria anymore for delivering the best cars in the world. Using state-of-the-art software technologies is key to provide the requested user experience. For the various software development projects and environments in automotive, we are looking for an Embedded Software Developer.

Join our international team of enthusiastic, experienced, and Agile Software Developers to develop a virtualized ECU solution utilized for software development, integration, testing & validation of Autonomous Driving functions through the overall CI/CD toolchain utilized in the development of entire functional areas of cars and used in future vehicles of a famous German automotive manufacturer worldwide. Help out in the creation of features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads in 2025 and later.

Responsibilities:
  1. Embedded SW Integration for functional, regression, and scenario-based testing
  2. VECU software development and integration for Simics and QEMU environment (Virtualization and Emulation)
  3. Orchestration of virtual ECU components using container and VM technology
  4. SW build and configuration including CI/CD pipeline configuration
  5. Contribute to software architecture design, development of software applications, and integration into enterprise systems
  6. Interact with teams of engineers from multiple disciplines
  7. Develop and verify software based on the requirements
  8. Perform demos for business stakeholders and ensure software meets their requirements
Mandatory Skills Description:
  1. Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar qualification.
  2. Good experience in C embedded and Python.
  3. Experience with debugging low-level (binary) code.
  4. Knowledge/experience on Computer Networks.
  5. Software development experience in international large-scale projects, preferably in the automotive domain.
  6. Experience in Linux-based OS.
  7. Able to communicate and present internally and externally in a confident manner.
  8. Possesses an understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies in the customer's analytic environments.
