Title: Client Accountant

Salary: 14-15,000 PLN per month

Contract: Permanent

The Client Accountant role involves providing support to the Bookkeeping and Accounting Team, primarily focusing on the preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of Companies and Trusts. Additionally, you are responsible for handling ad hoc reporting and ensuring compliance with tax regulations when necessary.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing client expectations effectively and ensuring that accounting deadlines are met promptly.
  • Finalising financial statements in a timely manner and addressing any client queries or concerns that may arise.
  • Risk management – ensuring that financial statements are prepared in accordance with relevant laws and generally accepted accounting practices.
  • Supporting peers with technical queries and participating in special projects as required.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with colleagues in the Bookkeeping and Trust Administration Teams.

Ideal candidates for this Client Accountant role possess prior experience in preparing financial statements for Trusts and Companies, along with a working knowledge of relevant statutory requirements such as UK GAAP. Experience with accounting software like MS Navision is considered advantageous. Personal attributes sought after include flexibility, professionalism under pressure, strong prioritization skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, as well as a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA or CA) or equivalent experience.
