Job Description:

For my client, a rapidly growing company in the B2B services sector, I am looking for an experienced Accountant & Financial Controller to manage accounting, reporting, and financial controlling for multiple business entities within an international structure.

Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting:
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
  • Handle intercompany reconciliations and reporting within the group.
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Monitor cost structures and profitability.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial transparency and efficiency.
Compliance & Process Improvement:
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, CIT) and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support ERP system upgrades or implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, or auditing, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
  • Experience with group reporting, consolidation, and intercompany transactions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience is an advantage).
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial analysis tools.
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
