Who we are looking for
The Business Analysis Senior Team Manager is responsible for managing the team of BAs and liaising with business teams in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes in business processes, policies and information systems, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
The Manager role is to support the pipeline and resource allocation for the team, act as an SME, as well as represent the team, IFDS and StateStreet in reference to internal and external clients.
Your new role
As a Business Analysis Senior Team Manager you will be responsible for:
- Define career path and goals for direct reports on the PPR system and ensure all reports follow the BA process and deliver their tasks as per agreed SLAs;
- Ensure direct reports develop their business analysis and soft skills;
- Ensure direct reports documentation is created to the relevant standard;
- Ensure that specialist knowledge is kept current and is shared among team members;
- Support pipeline management and resource allocation;
- Support and act as delegate for IFDS ChM Poland Team Manager;
- Act as a representative for the BA Team, ChM Team, IFDS and State Street in reference to both employees as well as internal and external clients;
- Take part/ own/ drive initiatives at team/BU/ company level;
- Actively work to expand skills and area of responsibility for the team;
- Act as Subject Matter Expert, point out synergies and drive system and process improvements;
- Analyze new system enhancements/regulatory changes/ operational process improvements requests to understand in detail impact on business functions and systems;
- Work with business representatives to understand requirements, scope and acceptance criteria;
- Define mapping of 'as-is' and 'to-be' business processes;
- Interpret business needs and translate into application and operational requirements;
- Document requirements according to standard templates using natural language;
- Walkthrough requirements with Business and Technology areas;
- Work closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
- Provision of the Application Support Document;
- Writing User Manuals, Training Material and Application Support Documents as required;
- Proactively identify and contribute to the evolution of the BA Charter/Methodology to industry best practice, to meet the changing requirements of customers, to improve efficiency, or to reduce risk;
- Drive and challenge Business Units on their assumptions of how they can execute business processes;
- Mentor direct reports in more complex analysis by setting up analysis approach.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Higher education in economics, business, finance, management;
- Experience in team management (setting up goals, providing feedback, developing employees);
- Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience in financial services.
