This Product Manager role will oversee, and direct the creation of science products related to our e-commerce product discovery. The Product Manager will also orchestrate work addressing customer pain points across the GPC enterprise, and lead teams in the definition, discovery, design, development, and delivery of end-to-end experience capabilities leveraging technology, operations, and process.

Specifically, this role will function as the Product Manager of a newly formed team, to build the next generation Catalog platforms at GPC. Working with a highly talented team, you'll play a key role in building and running one of the world’s largest automotive and industrial replacement parts operations.

The Product Manager is responsible for delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. Within their designated enterprise product, the Product Manager focuses on delivering value by leading the strategic vision and product roadmap across the customer journey and ensuring all products within their portfolio are aligned with the vision. The Product Manager identifies and connects interdependencies with other products within the customer journey. They support business reviews, communicate the product vision, and present across all levels of the organization.
responsibilities :
Collaborate with engineering to translate business strategy into product strategy
Own and maintain product opportunity and delivery roadmaps
Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and technology innovations
Drive growth for the business by applying domain expertise to provide thought leadership and translate vision into action
Define and communicate value propositions, OKRs, success metrics, and outcomes
Develop deep knowledge of business processes for the domain
Drive prioritization of product capabilities
Collaborate and drive cross-domain prioritization and sequencing of activities
Create/document/track KPIs to measure relevant business goals for the domain
Represent domain during enterprise planning and discovery
Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping, backlog, and delivery align with product strategy
Provide regular updates to product roadmap and outcomes
Represent business throughout the technology development process
Document requirements (functional and non-functional) via epics, features, and user stories
Maintain and prioritize product backlog
Track releases and communicate delivery roadmap
Plan and conduct user showcases and acceptance testing
Work with agile practitioners and engineering to improve the overall delivery lifecycle

requirements-expected :
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields or equivalent years of experience preferred
8 years experience in product and/or experience management
8 years experience in scrum/agile development methodology
8 years experience participating in product backlog prioritization and grooming/refinement
8 years of product ownership and helping drive road mapping, planning, and delivery in an agile environment
3 years experience designing and setting up experimentation, A/B tests, and measuring the key KPIs based on the optimization objectives
Experience in defining strategy and road map for exposing the platform services in the form of necessary APIs and feeds required for the clients and partners
3 years’ of working with machine learning tools (Sas, SPSS, R, Vertex AI)
Experience working with LLMs to deliver business solutions
Experience designing data-oriented solutions using Microservices and file feeds via any of the cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
Experience working in building features and enhancements for e-commerce product discovery
Experience working with any search engines such as Elastic Search, Solr, etc.
Demonstrated experience with analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to use data to break down complex problems and formulate plans
Mastery of identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value
Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories
Proficiency in conducting user research and testing to understand needs
Proficiency in conducting competitive research and analysis
Proficiency in guiding more junior team members through Product Management fundamentals in a professional setting
