Senior GL Accountant Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Recruitment for For our client - a global leader in production industry, we are looking for Senior GL Accountant with strong background in reporting.
Your responsibilities Accurately and promptly prepare comprehensive financial and direct tax reports, encompassing IFRS Group reporting, statutory financial statements, direct tax reporting, and statistical reports, in collaboration with external advisors.
Review, analyze, and make determinations concerning the quality of the balance sheet, profit & loss accounts, and direct tax reporting.
Approve and execute recurring and non-recurring journal entries related to inventory, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, accruals, impairments, write-offs, and taxes.
Ensure compliance with Corporate requirements/SOPs, local GAAP accounting, and direct tax regulations, staying abreast of current and new legislation and implementing accounting and tax regulatory changes.
Efficiently identify and resolve issues during MEC to meet closing deadlines effectively.
Participate in internal and external audits, collaborating with auditors on annual audits and tax returns.
Drive standardization and harmonization initiatives within the organization.
Provide assistance to fellow team members in day-to-day operations and support the manager with ongoing priorities.
Contribute to General Ledger process enhancement initiatives, including Robotic Process Automation.
Employer requirements Approximately 4 years of professional experience in corporate full general ledger
accounting or management accounting, including financial report preparation and direct
tax reporting.
Over 2 years of experience in management/statutory financial report preparation in a
similar position within a multinational company or Shared Service Centre multifunctional
role.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, with a preference for a Master's degree.
Strong understanding of IFRS accounting principles and proficient knowledge of taxation.
Practical experience with SAP or other integrated software, along with advanced Excel
skills.
Previous experience in SSC/BPO operations.
Familiarity with consolidation reporting systems (HFM/Oracle) and a good grasp of BI
tools.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a business level.
Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a positive attitude and
customer focus.
Attention to detail, adaptable demeanor, self-motivated, well-organized, and independent
