US Tax Analyst

US Tax Analyst Miejsce pracy: Łódź Your responsibilities Timely and efficient preparation of US Indirect Tax Compliance from the local unit in USA for more than 20 states.
Timely and efficient preparation of Canada Indirect Tax Compliance and US Abandoned Property Taxes.
Preparation of Forms 1099 for more than 400 vendors.
Assisting the business with the generation of purchasing documents and the selection of tax material groups in SAP for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Preparing tax adjusting journal entries, reconciliation of GL accounts, accounts analysis to support reporting. Work closely with AP, GL, Treasury and Procurement.
Support formal external/ internal audits, and refund claims.
Develop strong relationship as Partner with US business partners.
Work within deadlines
Focus on improvements; run projects to improve reporting process with a continuous improvement mindset.
Our requirements University degree in Finance and/or Accounting, or completion of a relevant course
Financial/accounting experience, indirect tax (VAT/Sales Tax) reporting experience preferred.
English proficiency: minimum B2 level
Good working knowledge of SAP
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in extracting insights from large datasets and making data-driven recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
