Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We're focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Own key efforts in the Compliance and Identity space in Chrome, interacting closely with cross-functional stakeholders from UX Design, Legal, Privacy, and other teams across Google.
  • Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution and success of launches.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Eng, UX Design, UX Research, Data Science, Legal, and PR.
  • Analyze usage metrics, user feedback, and UX research outcomes to look for areas of improvement in the form of new features, new controls, quality improvements, and new UI design.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer-facing products and knowledgeable across many functional areas incl. engineering, user experience and user research.
  • Proven track record for product delivery and ability to break down an ambiguous problem space into tangible steps.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on projects spanning multiple teams and functions.
  • Advanced problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to articulate product vision in your area, documenting both short-term plans and long-term strategy.
  • Ability to meld quantitative data, qualitative insights, and your own product instincts.
