As a Technical Lead Engineer at Macrix you will:

  • Supervise and oversee the technical aspects of projects,ensuring high-quality solutions and best practices,
  • Collaborate with the customer, product team and development team,
  • Determine project goals and priorities with management and other involved stakeholders,
  • Support in estimations and offers preparations,
  • Analyze risks and actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan and business objectives,
  • Recommend technology stack, tools and standards that increase productivity,
  • Assist in critical problems, software, hardware and personnel decisions on a project and on the organization level,
  • Ensure continuous development and improvement of the ongoing project activities,
  • Be a mentor and role model for less experienced colleagues.

What skills are we looking for?

  • 5+ years experience in an engineering role, preferably in a technical leadership position,
  • Strong expertise in .NET (C#), including backend development and system architecture,
  • Experience with at least one frontend framework (React or Angular,)
  • Solid understanding of Agile & Scrum methodologies,
  • Expertise in prioritization, technical documentation, and leading the requirements gathering process across teams,
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset in engineering or related disciplines,
  • Hands-on experience with complex systems, including multiple product lines and integrations with external systems,
  • Full system development life cycle understanding: analysis, design, coding, testing, performance tuning, and documentation,
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines,
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills, with experience guiding engineering teams,
  • Passion, drive, and a genuine desire to improve processes and technology,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2/C1).

What does our recruitment process look like?

Stage 1-HR Meeting (45 min) 

  • We will introduce you to our company, projects, and work culture. At the same time, we'd love to learn more about you, your experience, expectations, and career goals. 

Stage 2-Technical Interview (45 min) 

  • In this stage, we will assess your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills through an in-depth discussion on relevant topics. We want to understand your approach to engineering challenges and see how you think through problems.

Stage 3-On-site Task 

  • We will invite you to our office to complete a practical task related to the role. This allows us to evaluate your hands-on skills and approach to real-world scenarios in a work-like environment.

Stage 4-Final Interview with Head of HR (45 min) 

  • The last stage focuses on soft skills assessment, cultural fit, and financial discussions.
