"Practice in Lodz – summer internships is a project organized as part of the "Youth in Lodz" program, whose aim is to enable students and graduates of Lodz universities to gain professional experience. The project can be attended by people up to 30 y.o. who are students or graduates (up to one year after graduation) of Lodz public or non-public universities. We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

 Join our team as a Frontend Developer Intern 

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Javascript development Intern to join our crossfuncional agile team. You will work in the Big Data Platform Hub team that is responsible for all cross-cutting cloud/Hadoop topics in the Big Data & Advanced Analytics key area. You will have the opportunity to work on in software development, specifically focusing on Javascript and SQL scripting to develop self-service tool to automate data processing tasks. What you will be doing? 

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of fronted frameworks using Javascript, TypeScript and SQL-based software solutions.
  • Learn best development practices like writing clean, efficient code, performing code reviews, implementing IaC and CI/CD, testing, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and debug issues to ensure smooth performance of application.
  • Team collaboration using Agile methodology (SAFE).

Which technology & skills are important for us? 

  • Basic knowledge of Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Javascript (one of React Js, Angular, Vue)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Willingness to learn (TypeScript, CI/CD, Google Cloud)
