Database Administrator (Oracle) Location: Poland / 100% remote Contract: B2B Capacity: Full-time Who we are Kyotu Technology is a boutique software house based in Wrocław and Warsaw, working fully remotely or in hybrid mode from anywhere in Poland. We partner with companies from Germany, Switzerland, Western Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, focusing on complex, production-grade systems — the kind where performance, data integrity, and stability are critical. Who we're looking for We're looking for Database Administrators to join our talent pool for upcoming projects involving Oracle and Postgres environments. You'll work on maintaining and optimizing large-scale databases, ensuring their performance, reliability, and security in production environments. Must-haves: Experience with Oracle Database and/or Postgres administration Strong knowledge of SQL and database optimization techniques Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, pg_dump) Understanding of query performance tuning and execution plans Familiarity with database architecture , partitioning, and replication Ability to identify and resolve performance and availability issues Comfortable collaborating with developers and application teams Nice-to-haves: Familiarity with WebLogic , JBoss , or WildFly application servers Experience with monitoring tools (AWR, OEM, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana) Understanding of CI/CD workflows for database changes Experience with automation (Ansible, Terraform) Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) Scripting skills in Python , Bash , or Shell Basic experience with cloud environments (OCI, AWS, GCP) Your responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and optimize Oracle and Postgres databases Analyze and tune database performance, execution plans, and queries Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions Support development teams in optimizing SQL and connection configurations Collaborate with application teams on performance and connectivity (e.g. WebLogic ) Contribute to automation and process improvements across environments What we offer: 90–130 PLN VAT/h (B2B) 100% remote work Autonomy and direct impact on performance-critical systems Projects with international clients focused on scalability and stability ️ Note: We're currently building a talent pool for upcoming projects.
