For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
IBM MQ Expert (part - time)
Location: remote / Poland
Branch: project in IT sector
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 12 months
Rate: 170 -200 PLN/h (net+vat) on B2B (negotiable)
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Business Working hours
Remote work: 100% remote

Project:
Project for a large client from the IT sector
What will you do:
- design and deploy highly available IBM MQ clusters with strong performance, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities
- act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IBM MQ within the platform, advising on architecture, deployment models, and best practices
- configure, secure, and optimize queue managers, channels, listeners, and client connections
- troubleshoot MQ issues and cooperate with vendor support when required
- implement secure communication models with mutual TLS (mTLS)
- support integration of IBM MQ with other middleware components (e.g., APIs, gateways) while ensuring stability of the MQ backbone
- provide expertise for migrating and replacing legacy WebLogic JMS with IBM MQ (primarily point-to-point messaging)

What we expect from you:
- proven hands-on experience with IBM MQ in enterprise environments (installation, configuration, administration)
- deep knowledge of clustering, high availability, and distributed queue manager topologies
- strong expertise in secure MQ configuration (TLS/mTLS, channel authentication, access control)
- experience in building high-performance MQ infrastructures for demanding environments
- practical experience with JMS integration and HTTP transport
- solid Linux skills (deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting)
- experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting IBM MQ environments
- understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware concepts
- strong communication skills in English, able to work remotely in an international team
What would be a plus:
Higher education in the field of computer science, mathematics or related
