About the project

We are seeking a senior DevOps professional who excels in large-scale environments, embraces automation, and understands how to maintain the reliability and security of critical systems. If building resilient, cloud-native infrastructure in AWS and Kubernetes sparks your interest, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

You’ll join a project for a global leader in cloud communications – a company recognised worldwide for its APIs powering voice, video, and messaging. Together, we design, automate, and secure platforms spanning dozens of Kubernetes clusters and hundreds of thousands of servers.

Your responsibilities

- Operate and optimise large-scale Kubernetes clusters and AWS infrastructure
- Automate patching, vulnerability remediation, and deployments using Argo CD and related tools
- Build and maintain golden images, lifecycle policies, and data retention strategies
- Ensure security and compliance through encryption, backup management, and governance policies
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to keep platforms highly available, scalable, and resilient

Our requirements

- At least 5 years of experience in a senior DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role
- Proven track record in managing large-scale production environments (tens of Kubernetes clusters, hundreds of thousands of servers)
- Strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, including automation, patching at scale, and building resilient systems
- Hands-on experience in creating and managing infrastructure components such as golden images, lifecycle policies, backups, volume encryption, backup encryption, and data retention policies, along with Kubernetes and GitOps practices (e.g., Argo CD)
- Proficient English communication skills (B2/C1) for collaboration in an international environment
- Residing in Poland required
