Our customer is the leader in providing modern business solutions. We are expanding our operations in Poland and strengthening our finance team with the addition of a Chief Accounting Specialist. This role is based in our Warsaw office and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment within the renewable energy sector. Project information: Industry: Renewable Energy Location: Warszawa; hybrid working model (3x2) Languages: Polish & English Type of employment: long-term contract of employment Salary range: 17000 - 18000 PLN gross Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all accounting activities within the organization Contribute to the preparation and submission of tax declarations (VAT, VAT-EU, CIT, PIT) Assist in drafting annual and interim financial reports Prepare financial analyses, statements and documentation for internal management as well as external parties (e.g. tax authorities, social insurance, statistics office, banks, etc.) Supervise payment processes, monitor settlements and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts Track changes in fiscal regulations and implement required adjustments Review and manage financial risk instruments such as insurance policies and bank guarantees, supporting decision-making in cooperation with other departments Represent the company during audits, inspections and proceedings with financial authorities Monitor costs and revenues, ensuring accurate recording and reporting Address ongoing financial issues, including corrections and re-invoicing Support month-end and quarter-end closing procedures Ensure compliance with internal financial and operational standards Promote best practices, encourage adherence to corporate policies and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement Requirements: Master's degree in economics, finance or accounting Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in similar position Excellent command of both Polish and English Strong organizational and time management abilities Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Solid interpersonal and communication skills We offer: Full-time job agreement based on employment contract Flexible working model and hours Private medical care Sport card Life insurance Additional day off (birthday celebration) Role with direct impact on the company's financial operations and decision-making processes A chance to join a fast-growing and mission-driven company in the renewable energy space
