Senior Financial Accountant What you will do: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB). Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax laws, and company guidelines. Oversee the general ledger accounting cycle and month-end closing activities. Reconcile GL accounts (e.g., banks, receivables, payables, provisions) and resolve discrepancies. Provide financial reports, analyses, and data for audits and tax reviews. Support Regional Finance teams with tax and reporting matters. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes through accurate financial insights. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting. Support ERP or accounting system implementations. What we are looking for: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., Certified Accountant) is an advantage. Several years of accounting experience, ideally in a Shared Service Center environment. Good knowledge of IFRS and solid understanding of general ledger processes. Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Excel. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
