We are looking for a talented Backend Senior Developer/ Tech Leader who loves working with both people and software. We expect that you, as a leader, are passionate about building an environment where software engineers can achieve their full potential. As an engineer, you have a great understanding of modern development techniques and can be a partner for the team to choose the best solutions. We expect that you can be an advocate of clean code, and clean architecture, TDD (Test Driven Development), pair programming and always welcome feedback. You will be given a lot of autonomy and we want you to use the most of it and drive the team towards technical excellence. We hope you feel learning is a natural part of your workday and you have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise. responsibilities : Analyze, extract and integrate sports oriented real-time data from a variety of complex sources, showcasing your adaptability to different protocols and technologies Collaborate with architects, tech leaders and engineers to innovate and refine data extraction frameworks, ensuring efficient handling data streams, thus directly impacting the speed and accuracy of data-driven decisions Utilize advanced knowledge in TypeScript/JS, and modern development practices to lead and guide the team in organizing themselves around optimal solutions Be a proponent of clean code and clean architecture requirements-expected : Solid backend development experience with Typescrpit and/or Node.JS Understanding of network protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, including response statuses, headers, request methods, cookies, etc Experience with REST API & WebSockets Experience in designing and working on highly scalable systems Experience with containerization and DevOps (AWS, K8s, Docket) A can-do attitude, take pride in own work and an ability to keep up momentum Excellent communication skills, ability to engage colleagues to thoughtfully work toward a single goal and help the team to adapt and succeed when things do not go exactly as planned offered : Grow as a leader within an inspiring and fast-growing company and become a domain expert in the exciting world of real-time sports data Have real impact on building a high performing team of your dreams Shape the culture of our Automated Data Acquisition team with us Influence the future of Sportradar by directly contributing to products used by our clients in the global sports business We trust your expertise and your choices for the tools and solutions you know will bring the most value A collaborative environment with colleagues around the world in CET/UK timezone Be a part of a company, which act with integrity, sports, physical exercise, and fun Leverage hybrid approach to achieve work-life balance but get the important stuff done in person Competitive salary and benefits as well as employee equity program benefits : flexible working time fruits integration events no dress code coffee / tea drinks
