Opis stanowiska

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to embed a culture of integrity and accountability. By aligning compliance with our mission, you will not only safeguard the business but also help strengthen our client's position as a responsible market leader, trusted by customers, city administrations and business partners.

Areas of Accountability / Responsibility:

Strategic Leadership

- Continuously improve a Compliance programme that is proportionate to company's needs, aligns with business priorities, integrity best practices and key regulatory demands.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on compliance, ethics and risk matters.

Ethics and regulatory compliance

- Ensure adherence to national and international regulations and best practices, including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Competition Law, management of Conflict of Interest.

- Manage the Company Integrity Line and oversee complex internal investigations on potential compliance breaches; co-ordinate cross-functional investigation teams in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts across the organisation.

Compliance training and awareness

- Develop and deliver mandatory training programmes for employees and management, including Code of Conduct, Competition Law and On-boarding training.

- Promote a culture of accountability and ethical decision making throughout the organisation.

Policy governance

- Manage the Company Policy and Procedures governance process, and ensure policies are adequately cascaded and advertised throughout the organisation.

Risk management

- Manage company wide risk reporting including deep dive with C-Level on top risks.

- Occasionally, conduct basic buyer and investor KYC checks; partnering with the Procurement team, contribute to the improvement of the Company Third Party Risk Management process

Profil kandydata

- 8+ years of experience in a Compliance role, ideally with a background in implementing or managing multi-country Compliance programs (preferably one which is subject to FCPA and UK Bribery Act).

- Good understanding of international regulatory frameworks and standards, particularly in areas such as Competition law, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Conflict of Interest.

- Demonstrated experience in co-ordination and performing internal investigations.

- Fluency in English is required, additional European languages are a plus.

- Pragmatic and business oriented approach to Compliance, able to balance regulatory requirements with operational realities and business priorities.

- Demonstrated ability to navigate a high level of ambiguity and address unknown challenges in a young, rapidly evolving, maturing business environment.

- Genuine passion for sustainability, urban mobility and driving meaningful change in cities.

Nice to have:

- Experience in implementing a Compliance programme in a maturing start up or scale up environment or a developing business sector.

- A diverse skill set in areas such as Internal Controls, Risk Management, Legal, or Audit is beneficial, though expertise in all of these is not expected.

- Compliance certifications from recognised bodies (for example ICA, ACAMS or SCCE) are a plus.

- Qualified Lawyer in at least one country.
