Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Testronic. As a key member of our Localization Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our games' translations, audio, text, and cultural correctness.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Finding and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities in our games.
  • Verifying the game's tone and style, as well as its cultural correctness, to ensure a polished and engaging experience for players.
  • Creating detailed reports in Excel and Jira to track and communicate issues effectively.
  • Submitting quality-improving suggestions for the errors you find during your review process.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of Czech language and culture, with a C2 level or native fluency.
  • Excellent English skills, specifically a C1 level, to facilitate internal communication and reporting.
  • A thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in your native language.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, to efficiently manage and analyze data.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling you to express yourself clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within tight deadlines and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

In addition to these essential qualifications, we welcome candidates who possess:

  • A genuine passion for gaming and an interest in exploring new titles across various genres.
  • Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic testing, which can be beneficial but not required.
  • Familiarity with gaming platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), and Apple (iOS).
