About the Role

Kalepa is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead our world-class software development for commercial insurers. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will solve challenging problems at the intersection of large and performant data pipelines, distributed systems, and robust infrastructure.

Our team works in a two-week sprint, collaborating with a small team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers. You will be responsible for working on distributed systems, creating scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure, building data-driven microservices leveraging RESTful APIs, and collaborating with the team to drive project direction and maintain focus.

We use a comprehensive tech stack, including Python, Connexion, React, Query, Typescript, and Docker. If you have a strong background in software development, excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation, we encourage you to apply.
