Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at Kingfisher. As a key member of our engineering function, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing new features and products that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software that meets our customers' needs.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand and deliver value through your product.
  • Participate in design, code, and test reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • Practice DevOps, testing, and releasing software continuously to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Integrate software with monitoring, observability, and support tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in team processes, using Agile methodologies to adapt and continuously improve.
  • Follow data-driven approaches to conduct experiments and iterate features.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the product life cycle.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java and experience producing technical designs with consideration for scalability and security.
  • Experience with e-commerce systems and understanding of design patterns and principles.
  • Practical experience writing high-quality tests (unit/integration/e2e).
