About the Role
You will be responsible for building a sound understanding of the Finance function, identifying and documenting business requirements, organising and facilitating requirements gathering and prioritisation sessions, collaborating with key stakeholders, accurately measuring the contribution of IT projects to business value, helping business partners communicate the solution value to key stakeholders, delivering solutions that support architectural objectives, driving SAP User Experience of Finance solutions, supporting test activities and taking responsibility for the design and execution of test cases where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the Finance function and its trends, challenges, risks and opportunities.
- Document business requirements accurately and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Organise and facilitate requirements gathering and prioritisation sessions to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure consistency with the overall business and IT strategy.
- Measure the contribution of IT projects to business value and track results.
- Communicate solution value to key stakeholders effectively.
- Deliver solutions that support architectural objectives.
- Improve SAP User Experience of Finance solutions.
- Support test activities and take responsibility for test case design and execution.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role.
- Practical experience with SAP: S/4 HANA or ECC (especially for RtR, AP and AR).
- Degree in Finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills.
- Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and product management skills.
- Experience of working with teams in multiple locations and remotely.
- Ability to support existing IT applications.
