Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Fund Accountants, overseeing fund valuation activities, and leading a range of tasks including:

  • Calculating daily and periodic NAVs for funds and disseminating unit prices to facilitate investor dealing.
  • Producing audited annual financial accounts and unaudited semiannual accounts for regulated entities.
  • Completing regulatory reporting and client reporting requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining business relationships and identifying process enhancements.
  • Serving as the primary point of escalation for internal/external staff queries.
  • Leading system testing and training staff on new technology enhancements.
Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA qualifications.
  • Experience in accounting or related field.
  • Knowledge of funds services and its processes and relevant technical systems.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Consistent clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area.
  • ACCA certificate would be an additional asset.
