About this Opportunity:
At Ericsson, we are seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to strengthen our Team working on maintenance and development of a Components Simulator, an integral part of our overall strategy to be the first to market with 5G products.

The Team is part of Simulation Services (SIS) in Poland, which provides a wide range of services and tools developed for testing networks like 4G and 5G. These test tools and automation frameworks are necessary for verifying product and its functionalities during the development process.

Your role will include all development activities such as requirement analysis, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. We are organized in multi-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of our daily work.

We use Java as our primary programming language and rely on Jira, Confluence, and GIT for our development process.

What You Will Do:

At the beginning:

Participate in the majority of steps of the software development cycle (Requirement Specification, SW Design, SW Implementation, Test Design, Test Execution activities, Automatic test)

Develop competence in a technical domain

With time:

Be responsible for ensuring that delivered software components provide the necessary functionality and perform in accordance with overall requirements and customer expectations

Perform investigations, analyze and solve encountered issues and problems in software and systems

Perform troubleshooting and customer support

Influence the product roadmap by proposing architecture changes

Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

Drive strategic technical leadership

The Skills You Bring:
Education: Master's / Bachelor's degree or a student in Computer Software Engineering or a similar field

Experience: A person keen to develop in telecommunications and software development with basic knowledge of Java or 1 year of experience in Java programming with an interest in development in telecommunications

Working with people and networking skills

Ability to notice and solve problems

Ability to question the status quo

Planning and Organizing skills

Agile mindset

English language on a communicative level (B1)
