About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer-Network Architecture to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. in Kraków, Poland.

As a key member of our Network Services group, you will be responsible for designing and architecting network infrastructure solutions that support our clean energy mission.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain comprehensive network documentation for new projects and existing redesigns.
  • Assist in the development of innovative network solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Document network architectures for new sites and implementations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Regularly review and update existing documentation, performing thorough documentation audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of networks to ensure a secure and stable environment.
  • Provide high-level technical support for our platforms and solutions, addressing complex network issues and providing business cases or solutions to management.
  • Ensure network compliance with company standards and industry regulations, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the smooth operation of network infrastructure, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of network, telecom, and firewall technologies.

You should have at least 5 years of experience working with network and telecommunications technologies, with a proven track record of integrating different infrastructure technologies.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure architecture/design is also required, along with proficiency in Arista switches and Cloud Vision Portal, Cisco routers and switches, Nexus switches, Python, SolarWinds network configuration manager (NCM), Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager, Cisco Prime/DNA, Cisco/Arista Wireless, and Cisco SDWAN.

CCNP or CCIE Professional certification or Arista equivalent is highly desirable.

Salary Range: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
