TN Poland is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our EHS efforts across multiple manufacturing sites in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing management systems to ensure high levels of EHS protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with site EHS staff to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company EHS requirements.
- Evaluate significant accident and hazard investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain an effective internal EHS audit program.
- Monitor delivery of effective EHS-related training for all sites and facilitate development of corporate training programs as appropriate.
- Support legal department with risk control and processing activities.
- Provide guidance on major facility renovations and process modifications to ensure EHS issues are addressed.
- Establish requirements for necessary EHS-related documentation and coordinate collection and distribution of EHS metric data to drive performance improvement.
- Promote EHS programs through internal publications and encourage consideration of EHS impact during decision-making processes.
- Develop and promote environmental sustainability strategy.
- Maintain EHS section of company external internet web page and coordinate responses to external queries about EHS Management System.
- Coordinate EHS due diligence for potential acquisitions and divestitures and manage EHS integration of acquisitions in a timely manner.
