We are seeking a skilled Credit Management Specialist to join our Sensia business, a global company providing hardware, software, systems, and petrotechnical expertise to automate processes and workflows in the oil & gas industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collections and reconciliations, identifying disputes, and providing overall customer service to assigned accounts. They will also communicate with product sales departments, branch plants, and service personnel to resolve customer disputes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciling customer accounts to identify disputes and generate journal entries
- Providing customer service to assigned accounts in matters concerning their accounts receivable balance and dispute resolution
- Communicating with product sales departments, branch plants, and service personnel to resolve customer disputes
- Exercising good judgment and decision-making skills involving payment arrangements on disputed items and/or write-offs
- Classifying past due accounts for monthly reporting to management
- Making recommendations to management on accounts or items that are potentially uncollectible
- Verifying bad debt reserve files
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with relevant teams across the organization
- Maintaining accurate information within the system, in compliance with company policies
- Supporting financial audits
Required qualifications include a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent, and 1 year of experience in Cash Collection, AR, or OtC department. Proficiency in Excel and good communication skills are also essential.
