Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at 232 FLEXTRONICS INTERNATIONAL KFT. in Budapest, Hungary or Tczew, Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the internal audit function for their geographic region, planning, performing, and managing audit activities to ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in project risk assessment and provide suggestions for entities to be included in the annual scope.
- Plan, perform, and report on internal audit projects, including SOX and risk-based audits, within designated regions and globally.
- Provide training and support to junior and senior auditors.
- Perform audit fieldwork in a competent and professional manner, ensuring that all reported findings are adequately supported.
- Identify and document controls or lack thereof to protect assets from loss, evaluate areas of risk, and detect and prevent fraud.
- Prepare and review work papers, audit observations, and recommendations considering materiality, pertinence to audit, and documentary evidence.
- Stay up-to-date with laws and regulatory issues impacting corporate governance and control, and interact with management at regional and global levels.
- Prepare documents and reports for Audit Committee meetings and senior management requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant fields, such as finance, general accounting, or auditing.
- Management skills and a bachelor's or master's degree in relevant fields, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Professional accounting or audit qualification, such as CIMA, ACCA, or CIA, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English and another language used in the region of assignment.
- Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and main ERP systems, such as BaaN.
- Ability to travel across regions and work in multiple time zones.
