Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at 232 FLEXTRONICS INTERNATIONAL KFT. in Budapest, Hungary or Tczew, Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the internal audit function for their geographic region, planning, performing, and managing audit activities, and providing assurance that all entities reviewed are conforming to Corporate, Statutory, Government, and local policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the project risk assessment process and provide suggestions for entities to be included in the annual scope.
  • Plan, perform, and report on different internal audit projects, including SOX and Risk-Based Audits, within designated regions and globally.
  • Provide training to junior and senior auditors and support them as necessary.
  • Perform audit fieldwork in a competent and professional manner, ensuring that all reported findings are adequately supported.
  • Identify and document controls or lack thereof to protect assets from loss, evaluate areas of risk, and detect and prevent fraud.
  • Prepare, utilize, and review work papers in all assignments, prepare audit observations and recommendations, and stay abreast of all laws and other regulatory issues that impact corporate governance and control.
  • Prepare documents and reports required for use by the Director or VP of Internal Audit for Audit Committee meetings and other senior management requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in relevant fields, such as Finance, General Accounting, or Auditing.
  • Management skills required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields, such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Professional accounting or audit qualification, such as CIMA, ACCA, or CIA, preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English and another language used in the region of assignment.
  • Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and main ERP systems, such as BaaN, desired.
  • Ability to travel across regions and work in multiple time zones.
