We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods and materials in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. They will be proactive in identifying and solving issues, and possess a customer-focused attitude.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Purchasing goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Process Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotation, and create Purchase Orders.
  • Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment.
  • Proactively monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers.
  • Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or similar field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in corporate environment, ideally in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or highly technical areas).
  • Knowledge of Procurement/Supply Chain Management processes and function.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, teamwork, solution orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for details.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and proactively identify and solve issues.
