About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to production teams to enhance safety, quality, delivery times, stock accuracy, and productivity
  • Identify and implement improvements in assembly processes and tools
  • Lead qualification of major developments and new processes
  • Collect and analyze production issues, using Root Cause Analysis, to manage resolutions of internal non-conformities with support from necessary teams
  • Implement strategies to minimize levels of blocked stock and scrap, ensuring stock accuracy
  • Conduct monthly quality/process reviews, establish corrective action plans with stakeholders, and monitor their execution
  • Audit process applications and propose tool and process enhancements prior to the pre-production phase to ensure operational efficiency
  • Validate operating procedures and production records and write process qualification reports
  • Integrate food safety standards (BRCGS Packaging) into processes as per HSE department guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in similar position working with manual assembly processes
  • Basic project management skills
  • Operational knowledge of mechanics and electricity
  • Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., LDM, PDCA, 8D, 5S)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication in English
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP is an advantage
