About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Europe Cocoa Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Barry Callebaut. As a key member of our European cocoa planning team, you will be responsible for optimizing production planning, stock management, and inventory control across our subcontractor sites.

Key responsibilities:

  • Optimize production planning at our subcontractor sites, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to organize transports and ensure smooth logistics.
  • Work closely with Solid & Liquid active planners to align subco planning with the overall planning landscape.
  • Declare flows in SAP, control and validate subcontractor stocks, and invoices.
  • Challenge production R&D or QA constraints and drive problem-solving initiatives.
  • Coordinate transports to choco entities and between cocoa sites and subco.
  • Manage specialty powder cocoa stocks and update stock policies as needed with Solid planner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the overall subco process.
  • Ensure inventories at subcontractors and supervise all other activities related to internal control.
  • Participate in and lead S&OE steps related to subco management.

About you:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent with a focus on supply chain and operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning in an industrial and international environment.
  • ERP and planning systems (SAP, planning optimizer tools like OMP).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent English and communicative French.
  • Strong analytical skills, rigorous, good communication, proactive & reactive problem-solving.
  • Autonomous in a remote working environment.
