Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Build & Integration Engineer to join our team at GlobalLogic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust build systems using tools like CMake and Conan.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and developing software to managing build systems for embedded software projects. You will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining cross-compilation environments for various target platforms, optimizing build performance and resource utilization, and troubleshooting and resolving build-related issues.

Your expertise in CMake and Conan will enable you to develop and maintain efficient build processes, while your experience with cross-compilation and embedded systems will allow you to work effectively with our development teams to ensure seamless integration with the build system.

As a Senior Build & Integration Engineer, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, working on exciting projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining robust build systems using CMake and Conan
  • Managing dependencies and integrating third-party libraries using Conan
  • Setting up and maintaining cross-compilation environments for various target platforms
  • Optimizing build performance and resource utilization
  • Troubleshooting and resolving build-related issues
Requirements:Technical Requirements:
  • 5+ years of work experience designing, developing, and testing software
  • 3+ years of experience managing build systems for embedded software projects
  • Bachelor's Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience, Master's Science with 3 years of experience, or PhD with 1 year of experience
  • Strong expertise in CMake and Conan
  • Experience with cross-compilation and embedded systems & CPU Architectures (e.g. ARM)
  • Experience with Linux-based systems
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming & other programming paradigms
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git
