About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to lead our strategic delivery initiatives at Euroclear. As a key member of our Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with a focus on budget management, coordination between Agile teams, SDLC, and risk management. A good understanding of project management software and tools, such as Azure DevOps and ServiceNow, is also essential.

You will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting quality standards. Your strong leadership and communication skills will enable you to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, including senior management, sponsors, and team members.

In this role, you will also be expected to:

  • Develop project proposals and plans, defining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Define project governance, scope, and responsibilities;
  • Oversee business, technical, organizational, management, and financial aspects of projects;
  • Regularly report project progress to stakeholders;
  • Challenges and negotiate changes in project specification or scope with sponsors and clients;
  • C coordinate teams of specialists to implement project tasks;
  • Act as an interface and facilitator between sponsors/clients and IT services involved in projects;
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with external suppliers;
  • Analyse requirements with sponsors and customers to evaluate project feasibility within pre-defined strategies;
  • Lead projects requiring unusual size, timeframe, or complexity, handling changes and instability in project management processes, strategy, and frameworks;
  • Present projects convincingly and win buy-in from sponsors and clients;
  • Regularly lead improvement initiatives;
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers at the project level;

Your success will be measured against targets, and your performance will be subject to periodic review.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification;
  • Experience in project management, focusing on budget management, coordination between Agile teams, SDLC, and risk management;
  • Good understanding of project management software and tools;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in reporting project progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity;
