We are pushing the frontiers of AI at our Warsaw center, where we combine innovative technologies with human expertise to create cutting-edge AI solutions. Our team of researchers and engineers work together to develop AI that is not only powerful but also safe, explainable, and user-friendly.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intelligent AI Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, conceptualizing and developing innovative technologies that push the boundaries of AI, and leading and participating in collaborative projects with international research teams.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Control Engineering, Physics, or Cognitive Science, with demonstrated expertise in technical programming, deep learning frameworks, and computational science. Profound understanding of AI mathematics and hands-on experience with Large Language Models, multimodal foundation models, and state-of-the-art generative AI techniques are also essential.

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Location: Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid model – 3 days from the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge scientific research in artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative technologies that push the boundaries of AI
  • Author and publish high-impact research papers in top-tier scientific journals and present findings at prestigious international conferences
  • Lead and participate in collaborative projects with engineers, domain specialists, and fellow scientists in international research teams to translate theoretical breakthroughs into practical applications
  • Actively monitor and contribute to the latest developments and trends in AI research, integrating state-of-the-art advancements into research practices
  • Mentor junior researchers or contribute to the intellectual growth of the research team

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Control Engineering, Physics, or Cognitive Science (Master's degree with exceptional research experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical programming, with proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and computational science
  • Profound understanding of AI mathematics
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal foundation models, and state-of-the-art generative AI techniques
  • Excellent scientific writing skills, with a track record of publications in reputable venues
  • Outstanding communication abilities and proven capacity to collaborate effectively in diverse, interdisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated experience in exploratory, 'blue sky' research projects that challenge conventional paradigms
  • Familiarity with technology development processes and design thinking methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Publication record in top-tier AI conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL, EMNLP)
  • Extensive experience in training and optimizing large-scale AI models
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:

o Numerical Linear Algebra

o Numerical Optimization Techniques

o Reinforcement Learning

o Spatio-temporal Grounding

o Adaptive and Stochastic Control Theory

o Signal Processing

o Explainable AI (XAI

o Dynamical Systems

o Cryptography and AI Security

  • Experience with grant and patent writing
  • Experience in organizing workshops, seminars, or conference tracks
