Safety and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality and Safety Manager to join our team at Club Car.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumers. This includes overseeing all aspects of Melex safety, health, and environmental compliance, as well as developing and promoting a Health and Safety culture.

This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive project-specific issues and goals to closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methods and tools.

In this role, you will work closely with Production and Operations Management to provide guidance and leadership for Quality and Safety related initiatives, including inspection of working conditions, supervision over waste management, water and sewage management, and air emissions.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
• Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards, supervise operational quality department
• Support Operations to reduce scrap through cross-functional review, data trend analysis, and structured problem solving
• Coordinate customer audits, third party audits, internal audits, audits of products and processes
• Manage the area of non-compliance and coordinate the process of introducing corrective and preventive actions

• > 5 years of Quality and Safety Management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with leading and coaching others, while exhibiting a high degree of influence
• Familiarity and understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems
• Understanding of Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methods and tools
• An understanding of General Manufacturing best practices

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
