Cash Application Specialist with Romanian or Hungarian Language Expertise

For Goldman Recruitment, a leading global recruitment agency, we are seeking a highly skilled Cash Application Specialist with Romanian or Hungarian language expertise. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of cash management processes within a dynamic and international environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process daily cash applications using bank statements, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with the Collections team to address and resolve issues involving unapplied and unidentified cash. Create and distribute timely reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously review and enhance the cash application process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and participate in ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and provide all necessary documentation to facilitate audit processes.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of finance-related projects.
  • Work closely with other internal departments, including finance, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in cash application is required.
  • Experience with transitions is advantageous but not essential.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese, with at least a B2 proficiency level in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and functions such as xlookup.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills.
