Cash Application Specialist Opportunity

GOLDMAN RECRUITMENT is seeking a skilled Cash Application Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of cash management processes within a dynamic and international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Application Process Management: Process daily cash applications using bank statements, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collections Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Collections team to address and resolve issues involving unapplied and unidentified cash. Create and distribute timely reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously review and enhance the cash application process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and participate in ongoing process enhancement initiatives.
  • Standard Operating Procedure Adherence: Adhere to standard operating procedures and provide all necessary documentation to facilitate audit processes.
  • Finance-Related Projects: Contribute to the development and improvement of finance-related projects.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other internal departments, including finance, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in cash application is required.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese, with at least a B2 proficiency level in both languages.
  • Accounting Knowledge and Excel Skills: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and functions such as xlookup.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills.
