Cash Management Specialist

ECCO is seeking a highly skilled Cash Management Specialist to join our Global Business Service (GBS) organization in Warsaw. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in establishing our European Business Centre and providing bookkeeping and accounting services for over 30 European ECCO companies.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage bank statements and suspense accounts.
  • Reconcile and clear incoming payments with Accounts Receivable and outgoing payments with Accounts Payable.
  • Process payment deductions for sales invoice discounts.
  • Check and process customer direct debits (rejections).
  • Perform analysis and reconciliation of cash and bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Credit Control team.
  • Meet daily and weekly deadlines for bank statement processing.
  • Closing of accounting periods without delays, in accordance with ECCO group closing calendar, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare reports to support business needs on a monthly/weekly basis.
  • Act as a proactive business partner with forward-looking, timely, high-quality, and value-adding financial support.
  • Support the audit process.
  • Develop new ideas to improve processes and actively participate in continuous improvements/project activities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a cash application role and/or posting of bank transactions.
  • Experience working in an international company or SSC serving multiple countries.
  • SAP experience required, Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel.
  • Quality and deadline-oriented.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
