Job Summary

As a Contracts Specialist I at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Contracts Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Draft local contracts for Poland, including investigator agreements, terminations, assignments, and amendments.
  2. Assist counsels with populating drafts based on negotiated templates.
  3. Print and obtain signatures (wet ink copies).
  4. Arrange courier delivery and collection to sites.
  5. Archive signed contracts (pdf on AES drive and physical original in the office).
  6. Maintain PI database in Poland and cooperate with sites in Poland.
  7. Maintain local contracts database in Poland.
  8. Obtain PI Acceptance Form in Poland.
  9. Cooperate with project management teams to set a priority on local contracts properly.
  10. Liaise with finance for site-specific budgets needed for site contracting.
  11. Draft work orders under internal MSAs.
  12. Draft and review change orders and other amendments.
  13. Draft and review start-up agreements.

Requirements

  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Flexibility and judgment required to reprioritize workload to meet changing project timelines.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of and adhere to all PPD and client SOPs, WPDs, and other regulations in all aspects of project implementation, execution, and closeout.
  • Excellent English and grammar skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
