For a successful career in international treasury, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Compliance Specialist to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.

This role is based at our Shared Services Center in Warsaw, but reports to the Assistant Treasurer, based in Belgium. The Treasury Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing bank compliance requests, such as "Know Your Customer" (KYC) and assisting the Treasury team with bank account maintenance, compliance requests for bank transactions, certain SOX and internal controls, and governance related to bank portals.

The Treasury Compliance Specialist will work in close coordination with the treasury operations teams in Belgium, US, Singapore, and Costa Rica. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in international treasury and work with a world-leading animal health company.

Responsibilities:

"Know Your Customer" (KYC) Controls:

  • Coordinate efforts to obtain necessary documentation from various teams to open and maintain bank accounts.
  • Ensure storing and sharing of information is done in compliance with applicable security and privacy regulations.
  • Contribute to developing best practices and standards to improve KYC processes at Zoetis.

Compliance related to Treasury transactions:

  • Coordinate a timely response to compliance questions on bank transactions, e.g., related to sanction regimes or anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Prepare reports on treasury transactions, as required (e.g., for EMIR compliance on derivative transactions).
  • Assist in obtaining audit confirmations from banks.

SOX and Internal Controls:

  • Assist other members of the team in preparing and coordinating certain SOX controls related to bank accounts and signatories.
  • Assist in coordinating audits by external and internal auditors.

Bank Portal Governance:

  • Assist in maintaining users to banking and treasury portals and systems.
  • Work with banks and other system providers to ensure governance controls are set up in line with Zoetis standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a banking or corporate finance environment.
  • Strong focus on integrity, compliance, and attention to detail is a must.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
  • Interest in technology and excellent computer literacy.
  • Experience with banking platforms is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, while at the same time being a strong team player.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic work attitude.
