Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage in typical Agile and Software development activities: backlog refining, planning, implementation, design and code reviews, demos, and retrospectives
  • Deliver AWS-based Java services through CI/CD and Infrastructure as code
  • Engage in all team activities through collaboration, problem-solving, and teamwork
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and define solutions to fix them duly

Salary Estimate: $120,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Written and spoken Japanese language proficiency (equivalent of at least JLPT N3 or higher)
  • Written and spoken English language proficiency (the equivalent of B2 or higher)
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least 4 years of relevant development experience in Java
  • Good knowledge of Spring framework and Hibernate ORM
  • Experience with relational databases, message brokers, building RESTful APIs, Docker
  • Experience implementing CI/CD, unit testing, and integration testing
