About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AIOps Solutions Consultant to join our team at IBM Global Delivery Center in Krakow, Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge AIOps solutions to our clients, leveraging your expertise in mainframe and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to understand their main challenges and develop solutions that improve their systems management, IT operations, application performance, and operational resiliency using AI on the mainframe.
  • Participate in planning, installing, configuring, validating, and migrating IBM Z AIOps solutions that utilize automation to detect events and anomalies, identify, and resolve issues faster within client environments.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of and delivery to the project scope and timeline, adhering to zAIOps products' implementation methodologies.
  • Demonstrate a natural bias towards self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative, navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and IBM teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with real-world application of computer science, information systems, or engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, engaging, compelling, and influential.
  • Technical expertise in system software scripting, including deployment and optimization of operating systems, batch scripts, data sources automation, etc.
  • Familiarity with reviewing the performance of monitoring environment infrastructures, monitoring processes, event flow, and historical data collection policies.
  • 1+ years of experience with Operating Systems, Cloud environments.
  • 1+ years of solution consulting or relevant industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with data insights in real-time dashboards, including open-source Elastic Stack/OpenSearch solution/Splunk.
  • Familiarity with analyzing system performance using tools like RMF, SMF data, & Omegamon.
  • Familiarity with IBM Z Operational Log and Data Analytics (ZLDA), IBM Z Anomaly Analytics (IzAA), IBM Watson Machine Learning for z/OS, IBM Service Management Unite (SMU).
  • Experience in the delivery of training.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Dynamic team player, comfortable working in a small, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Passion for making a difference in their profession and the environment.
