Electrical Solutions Engineer

We're seeking a skilled technical professional to advance our success through connecting and protecting customers with inventive electrical solutions.
Job DescriptionIn this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop new opportunities and interact with customers primarily to increase sales of our products and/or services.
- Process external and internal customer inquiries by phone, virtual meetings, and in writing concerning technical queries and quotes in an efficient and timely manner.
- Process and maintain quotes within our ERP/Salesforce operating system.
- Assist the Customer Service team in reviewing customer complaints related to technical matters, addressing customer concerns, and escalating if necessary.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department on technical training and marketing literature review.
- Provide in-depth technical support for professional customers, including Planners, Architects, Consultants, Installers, Contractors, Specialized Distributors, and nVent Representatives.
- Deliver Pre-Design and Design deliverables, coordinate work with other departments as needed.
- Manage and create quotes for configured and other MTO products.
- Support troubleshooting installation issues and start-up assistance via phone, virtual digital meeting, and in writing.
- Familiarize yourself with nVent software products and develop technical simulations, such as heat loss calculations for piping and other applications.
- Hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through field experience.
- Support troubleshooting installation issues and start-up assistance via phone, virtual digital meeting, and in writing.
- Manage and create quotes for configured and other MTO products.

Experience:
- 1+ years' Customer Service or Supervisory experience in an industrial environment;
- Proficiency in Architectural and/or Engineering drawings (process flow, electrical one lines, piping schematics).
- Ideal experience working with channels and electrical distribution.
- Ideal SAP experience.
- Ideal Thermodynamics experience.
- Ideal SAP experience.

- Proficiency in Architectural and/or Engineering drawings (process flow, electrical one lines, piping schematics).
Skills:
- Languages: fluent English.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills, especially over the phone.
- Technical aptitude for product knowledge.
- Advanced computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PDF Foxit, CRM (Salesforce).
- Able to multitask and handle shifting priorities to satisfy customer requests.
- Problem-solving under adverse time constraints.
- This individual should possess a 'can-do' attitude and be expected to learn product information quickly.
