Job Title: Art Director

We are seeking an experienced Art Director to lead our team of lighting artists in the development of a new IP. As a key member of our Art department, you will inspire, mentor, and lead a team of high-caliber lighting artists to create captivating visuals. Your expertise in color and composition will help us deliver epic visual content for world-class player experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, Designers, Engineers, Artists, Producers, and Animators to deliver high-quality visual content.
  • Implement high-level direction and work independently to achieve project goals.
  • Define team goals, action plans, and schedules for the project.
  • Lead, task, mentor, and conduct one-to-one meetings with your Lighting Artists.
  • Champion standard processes and advocate towards streamlining tools and processes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in the games industry working in a lighting capacity, and/or film or equivalent experience.
  • Strong affinity for CGI lighting techniques, color theory, and post-process effects for console hardware.
  • Proven track record thriving in an exciting and often ambiguous environment.
  • Strong understanding of game engines, pipelines, and processes.
